This bathroom was completely transformed, stripped to the bare studs, and rebuilt with a modern and functional design. Collaborating with the homeowner’s vision, I handled every aspect of the renovation, ensuring all elements came together seamlessly.
Walk-in shower with matte black accents
The highlight of the renovation is the custom walk-in shower. Featuring matte black hardware and a frameless glass enclosure, this shower blends elegance with practicality. Classic white subway tiles with dark grout provide a timeless aesthetic, while the recessed niche ensures a clutter-free space for bath essentials. The dual-function shower system includes a rainfall showerhead and a handheld sprayer for a luxurious experience.
Hexagonal mosaic flooring
The bathroom floor is finished with hexagonal black-and-white mosaic tiles, adding texture and depth to the space. These tiles offer a perfect balance of durability and sophistication, complementing the sleek modern design while maintaining a nod to classic aesthetics.
Pedestal sink with custom storage
A timeless pedestal sink was selected to create an open, airy feel in the space. Matte black fixtures were installed to match the shower hardware, tying the design together. Above the sink, a modern, black-framed mirror with integrated shelving offers both practicality and visual appeal, providing storage for small essentials while maintaining the minimalist theme.
Shiplap wainscoting and finishing touches
Shiplap wainscoting was added to the lower half of the walls, lending warmth and texture to the room. The upper walls were painted in a clean, bright white to enhance the sense of space. Thoughtful details such as black towel bars, a soft-close toilet, and strategically placed greenery add personality and balance to the overall design.
